The application process is as follows:

Complete and submit the application form to Morden Community Development Corporation.
Review Committee evaluates the applications against a set of criteria to determine suitability for participation in the initiative. The criteria categories are:
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) (see qualifications below for more details)
Skills & Employability
Overall Suitability for the Initiative
Successful applicants receive a support letter from MCDC. Declined applicants are informed as to why their application was not accepted; all applicants are encouraged to reapply if their situation changes and they become a more likely candidate for the initiative.
Successful applicants complete an exploratory visit to Morden and have a pre-arranged interview with the Manitoba PNP in Winnipeg. Special circumstances may negate the need for an exploratory visit.
Applicants receiving an invitation, apply online to MPNP (at www.immigratemanitoba.com) within 6 months time of receiving the invitation.
The Province processes and makes the decision on all MPNP applications. If nominated by the MPNP, the applicant will receive a Letter of Approval from the MPNP. This is needed for the final step in the immigration process which is to apply to the Government of Canada for permanent resident visas for the applicant and accompanying family members.
Qualifications:
Applicants must not have an immigration application on file with the MPNP or the Government of Canada.
Applicant does not already have connection to Manitoba as identified for other MPNP streams.
Applicants must meet the following Manitoba PNP criteria:
a) English ability requirements; IELTS 5.0 or higher (International English Language Testing System, visit www.ielts.com) Note: An IELTS score may not be required if the applicant has completed a post-secondary educational program delivered in English or is from an English speaking country.
b) Primary applicant between the ages of 21 and 49
c) High School and a minimum of one (1) year of post-secondary school for which they have received a certificate or diploma of completion.
d) Two (2) of the past five (5) years employed in an area related to employment skills
e) Sufficient settlement funds available
