Begging has long been touted as a lucrative profession, and, apparently, this has been proven true in a series of photos of a group of beggars with a penchant for living the high-life, i.e. hanging out at the Cartier shop among other things. Girls indulge in yet another bodily Weibo selfie trend–this time showing off their delightfully small breasts. A Chinese teacher rocked social media for drawing an entire world map without any aids at the first attempt. Tianjin gets its first prison restaurant, where families and lovers can dine behind iron bars. How romantic. And a man bought five iPhone 5S with small change, bringing speculation as to his profession (50 Cent Party, anyone?).

1. Cartier-shopping Chinese Beggars

Beggars can’t be choosers, but some Chinese beggars can. Some beggar gangs and vagrant subway beggars reportedly use beggar tactics to turn panhandling into a well-paid job, while entrepreneurial beggars earn enough to browse at Cartier… A Weibo post titled “Beggars’ One Day” went viral last week, receiving over 21,000 retweets.

For lunch, they get beef and beer to regain energy, poured a bottle of cold beer into a bottle to disguise as medicine and fed it to the person lying down.
